CHAOS ENDS AS NEW POPE IS ELECTED

 
After days of disagreement from the 115 cardinals of the Catholic church who went into the sistine chapel to select a new pope,a new pope has finally been elected,it took the 115 cardinals two(2) day to elect a new pope,sources say the disagreement was due to none of the  candidates eligible for voting unable to get 77 votes..the matter later became resolved today when a new pope was finally elected and announced to the congregation who have been waiting outside the cahpel wating anxiously for a new pope to be announced...the new elected pope CARDINAL JORGE MARIO BERGOGLIO is the first South-american arc bishop to be elected pope..he is the 266th pope to be announced and he is 76 years...and he has choosen the papal name-POPE FRANCIS!!!

                 After months of speculation about Tiwa Savage and her manager T-billz,it has finally been confirmed that the two are going to get married real soon,T-billz proposed to Tiwa earlier on yesterdae while she was celebrating her 33rd birthday party,her manager was reportedly said to have proposed to her while the party was on ..and she instantly said yes.it was a shock for the singer whose birthday party turned into a proposal party.congrats to them tho.I can hear wedding bells soon.

It was a stunning win for the super eagles of Nigeria today at the Bafokeng stadium,Rustenburg,South-africa as the super eagles defeated the Ivorians by two goals to one,the first goal was scored  by  Emmanuel Emenike in the 43rd minute,and an equalizer by Tiote in the 53rd minute brought the Ivorians hope until the winning goal was scored  by home-based Sunday Mba in the 79th minute,the super eagles  progressed into the Semi-fianls and are to face Mali on wednesday.

A Valentine ’s Day campus rave party to serve as an “after-party” rounding-off the various activities
embarked upon by the students/attendees in the course of celebrating internationally celebrated
“lovers’ day” with their loved ones.
This will be the un-official after-party for all the couples dinner dates, picnics, movie dates and many
other activities invented, where they can come and cap-it-up with real fun all night.
This is originally the date for the Mr & Miss Unilag Pre-party, and we decided to beef it up and involve
12 other campuses, but it still remains the official pre-party to the Mr & Miss Unilag as all our media
partners will be carried along. We will unveil them to the students across the campuses that same night.
UNIQUE PROJECT CONCEPTS
PROJECT THEME/TITLE: This theme for this party is been derived from the process a normal
romantic relationship go through during take-off
Boy MEET(S) girl and makes acquaintance.
Boy and girl exchanges phone calls and go on dates, checking each other out to see if both
MATCH up. Do they both have what they’re looking for in each other (compatibility check).
Once the compatibility check pans out, they go ahead to MAKE the best of it.
So the process goes MEET, MATCH, and MAKE (M3) which is thus the adopted theme/title of
the project. “MMM : MEET, MATCH and MAKE”.
PROJECT COVERAGE: The project will cover but not limited to thirteen (13) different campuses from
the four western states of LAGOS, OGUN, OYO and OSUN state.
This will provide one of the major ingredients of excitement for attendees, and that VARIETY (the
abundance of new, fresh and bubbly students from different campuses ready to mingle and have fun.
All these to take place under one roof in a very colorful, fun-guaranteed, roof-breaking, love-filled and
celebrative atmosphere.
TICKETING: A ticket charge of N2000 for guys and N1000 for ladies will be charged to enable cater for
the necessary logistics like Publicity and transportation. We will be providing coaster buses on every
campus to convey students down to the venue and back to their campuses.
Publicity materials will also be in form of Shirts, Posters, Banners, Fliers and Stickers & Bulk Sms. It will
be made very present and visible on all 13 campuses and youth hang-outs
COLOR YOUR STATUS: This party is bound to be a high traffic zone for romance because of the
singular reason of the nature and relevance of the date. Thus in other to allow for an easy flow of traffic
and also add color to the event, we have designed color codes to boldly state what attendees status are.
RED: HOOKED AND NOT INTERESTED.
YELLOW: UNDECIDED (might need some convincing).
GREEN: FREE AND READY TO MINGLE.
VENUE: A lot had to be put to consideration for a choice of venue for this unique party, and we found a

CHAOS IN UNILAG AS MOREMI GIRLS PROTEST

 Earlier this morning in the University Of Lagos,girls from Moremi hall,located in the main campus were seen protesting over power shortage in their hall of residence,there seem to have been a power shortage in the hall for some days and it seems the girls had no other choice than to protest.The protest ended when the potters came to their attention.Electricity was later restored in the hall hours after the protest.

REFUGEES TAKE OVER UNIABUJA

Following the shut down of the university of Abuja last November by the NUC due to protests of students over non-accreditation of some courses  in the school and the students still in chaos and confusion about when the school will be re-opened,some Fulani and Hausa refugees have been seen taking over some administrative places in the school premises.


 
The refugees and their families have made makeshift tents in the administrative areas of the school,and they have been living there since last year without disturbance and the students have been pleading and at the same time protesting for the school to be reopened.

BIOGRAPHY
MC LEE as he’s popularly called is a rapper/songwriter and a performing artist. He’s also a certified networking administrator/engineer, a qualification he bagged at the Cisco Networking Academy, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Born and raised in Benin City, the capital of Edo State, MC LEE’s love for music started at a very young age.
2006/07 marked the start of MC LEE’s career when he was admitted into the famous Ahmadu Bello University. In between studies, he took out time to hit the studios and recorded a couple of underground tracks; a move that made him famous around the city of Kaduna and within campus. He carved a niche for himself that every show had his name and face on their posters.
2010 saw a different part of him as he emerged the winner of Sprite Triple Slam (Season 2) in the Kaduna regionals with Eldee the Don as the judge. He made the crowd go wild and threw them in frenzy when he stylishly dropped the mic during the cause of the audition. That singular act won him loads of accolades and major interviews from various TV channels and an exclusive interview from MTV Base. Eldee professionally described him as “a great performer”. He has since performed in some shows around the country.
In 2009, MC LEE was the opening act for Durella at the Easter Rocks at Abesan Estate, also the opening act for Sauce kid when he came to Kaduna, he was also a guest artist at the Christed Records Mixtape, a guest artist at the Shakers Awards in Kogi State University and Dynamix Awards Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He was also at the Glo “Rock n Rule” show in Kaduna with Wande Coal, Eedris Abdulkareem, P-Square with Basket Mouth and Ramsey Noah as the Host.
He was nominated for crème de la crème at the Dynamix youth award and had a review on the Dynamix magazine; he won the “artiste of the year” at the Ahmadu Bello University Prime awards. He’s got the likes of Don Jazzy, Dokta Frabz, Tiwa Savage, DPrince, Alaye, TY Mix,VC Perez, E kelly, Laura Ikeji, Kevin Chuwang Pam, Elizabeth Gupta Pam, kollertunz, Godwon, DJ Jimmyjatt,Denrele of Channel O,Adamz of Soundcity,Flowssick and a few other celebrities  gracing his twitter follower’s list.

Popular actor;Enebeli Elebua laid to rest

Popular veteran actor Enebeli Elebua was laid to rest on Friday,11th January,2013 at the Victoria courts cementary,Ajah,the actor was reported dead on Dec 5th,2012..friends,family and other famous Hollywood actors and actress were also dere to offer condolences to the family of the deceased,he will be dearly missed in and out of the industry,he was a legend in the industry and was loved by all.We all pray that his soul rest in perfect peace..Amen!!
